 THE 75th

POLESWORTH CARNIVAL

Once again the Polesworth Carnival will be returning to the playing fields of Polesworth, but this year to celebrate its 75th anniversary. To mark this special occasion the event will extend over the whole weekend, with the anniversary carnival parade, fairground; fun and games on Saturday 2nd July and the Midlands marching band competition on  Sunday 3rd July. As always this is an event not to be missed, and whats more we need your help!

The Polesworth Community Association will have a stall within the carnival field, with an array of fantastic home-made cakes, biscuits, sweets and treats. In addition our vintage stall will be selling your donated books.

So if you're a bit of a Jamie Oliver in the kitchen or have a treasure trove of books, toys or board games any contributions would be a welcome addition to the stall and gratefully received.  If you would like to make any donations please contact Keith on 01827 892117.

In addition to the usual events on carnival day, Polesworth Community Association have gone one better this year and organized a frog racing competition!! If you haven't tried it before the aim is to be the first person to flip your wooden frog to the finish line... its a little trickier than it sounds! So if you have never had a go before why not come down and check it out!

The carnival field will be open from 12:00 on Saturday 2nd July. The Polesworth Community Association stall is located in the lower field. So if you want so come down and have a treat or two or even just to try something new! We look forward to seeing you down there!
